Synopsis

Aggression, a primordial instinct, stays inside us and continuously needs an exit. Sports have been developed to release our violent urges. This piece embodies the symbolic meaning of sports by utilizing harmonious images of rhythm, movements and space.

"The Dance Company of Korea Bereishit in Zavala Muniz released a dual program called JUDO. There is a deep and conscious labor involved, investing research on the relationship of dance with the Eastern tradition in martial arts, with its management of work that is imprinted onto each other's bodies.

Creator / artist

After graduating with a bachelor's and master's from Hansung University in Korea, he completed a course on choreography at the European Dance Development Center in the Netherlands.
His works covey the various images in a confined space, which originates in the relationship between nature and people. Focusing on the origin of his movements, he has shown that every subject has two different ends in itself.
