The newly introduced <2024 Korea Stage Festa> is an integrated performing arts event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service. It aims to spark national interest in performing arts and serve as a platform for international promotion.

In collaboration with Korea's representative national theaters such as the National Theater of Korea, National Theater Company of Korea (Myeongdong Theater), and the Seoul Arts Center, this event showcases prominent performances. It reaches out to audiences with open performances held at venues accessible to all, including the Cheong Wa Dae, which is now open to the public and loved by the nation, and the long-standing artistic hub of Seogye-dong, the former site of the National Theater Company.

Additionally, various events will be held nationwide throughout October, offering a wealth of performance content. These include the ‘Re:Bound Festival,’ which showcases excellent regional and representative Korean performances, the ‘Performing Arts Market in Seoul’ (PAMS), a platform for domestic and international performance exchanges celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the ‘Welcome Daehakro’ performing arts tourism festival, and a variety of performances linked to the National Sports Festival in the Gyeongnam and Gimhae regions.
